“THE EFFECTIVENESS OF CONSUMING CARBOHYDRATE, WHEY, MEDIUM CHAIN FATTY ACIDS FOR BOTH MUSCLE GROWTH (HYPERTROPHY) AND RECOVERY (SPECIFICALLY MUSCLY GLYCOGEN RESYNTHESIS) ARE EXTREMELY WELL DOCUMENTED IN THE PEER-REVIEWED, SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE. HOWEVER, WHAT MAKES 3FU3L UNIQUE IS THAT IT COMBINES ALL THREE!”

Dr. Galpin is an Professor at the Center for Sport Performance at California State University, Fullerton and is the Director of the Biochemistry and Molecular Exercise Physiology Laboratory. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Exercise Physiology, Strength and Conditioning, Exercise Program Design, and Sports Nutrition; among others. His research utilizes the muscle biopsy procedure to analyze muscle at the single cell level in response to high intensity/power/force exercise. Essentially, his research uses highly sophisticated measurements and laboratory techniques to answer practical questions like: How does muscle adapt at the cellular level to interval training vs. strength training? What cellular aspects of muscle allow some athletes, like elite CrossFitters or Mixed Martial Artists, to be simultaneously strong and highly conditioned? What happens at the cell level that allows some athletes to train harder, yet recover faster, than others? Dr. Galpin disseminates his research and other knowledge through his website (http://hhd.fullerton.edu/knes/lab/bme/default.html ), social media accounts (@DrAndyGalpin), peer-reviewed research and coaching publications, books chapters, coaching conferences and clinics, and personal seminars. He uses what he learns from his research to help his numerous amateur and elite/Olympic NFL, Weightlifting, MLB, NBA, UFC, etc. athletes.

Dr. Galpin on 3FU3L
I recommend 3Fu3l for two reason: 1) scientifically supported evidence and 2) practicality.

The effectiveness of consuming carbohydrate, whey, medium chain fatty acids for both muscle growth (hypertrophy) and recovery (specifically muscle glycogen resynthesis) are extremely well documented in the peer-reviewed, scientific literature. However, what makes 3Fu3l unique is that it combines all three! Moreover, it is the only supplement option which uses extremely high quality ingredients. I’ve been using similar supplements for years with success, but am always disappointed with the quality of the carbohydrate (usually highly refined and processed sugars), whey (again, usually extremely processed), and fat (often actually eliminated). In fact, 3fu3l is actually the 1st and only supplement I recommend to my professional athletes because I can trust in its quality.

The other benefit of 3Fu3l is its practicality. It’s highly effective, and doesn’t taste like i’m drinking a 4,000 kcal chocolate milkshake. This is critically important as the taste of crappy sugar drinks is horrible if you’re consuming it during your workouts or a long competition. It’s light, sits well on the stomach, and I have never had an athlete complain about digestion issues with it. In fact, literally every person i’ve had try it (who usually suffer from supplements making their stomach upset – especially when they take it during training) is shocked by how little it effects their performance. Moreover, they’ve ALL noticed a significant change in performance and recovery. My athletes can’t get enough. The taste is actually surprisingly flavorful, yet very mild, making 3fu3l good as a stand alone shake or as a complimentary ingredient. It bakes extremely well and sits perfectly in solution when I put it in my veggie+fruit+seed blender shakes.
